please prepare some cash When you arrive your school in the U.S. , cause some of fast food shops accept cash only. also cause u don't have credit card and check card at that time, u need cash to do all payments.
please keep all receipts when u do shopping. many stores have store warranty, like 30days cash back. if u have problem with the things u bought and want to return, u need store receipt.
if u only have large bills when u come, have a exchange at bank, or buy some cheap stuff at store to get exchange, u need quarters when u make phone calls. u better not carry $100 or $50 bills because it's really large even for American, of course also for your own safety.
when u doing shopping, please read store return policies, some stuff,when returned,will charge restock fees.(camera,computers....)
